There are two ways for William to make calls and browse the internet at the same time.

The two most commonly used SIP (Session initiation protocol, the protocol for signaling and controlling multimedia communication sessions) applications are VoIP and Instant messaging to make voice calls over the internet. In these services, other than making voice calls, video calls are even possible. Examples of these are Skype, Facebook Messenger, and Yahoo Messenger.
