What formula would be used to add two cells together after the equal sign

(a) = SUM () with the cursor in between the parentheses. Here you can just type in your formula; or

(b) = SUM (A3+B3) - something like this, as a guess regarding what you want to add. Just type over the cell references to make it what you want.
