    Yes, "technology" doesn't have to be all about computers or cell phones ... Technology is anything that is a new advance in knowledge and books were once a great advance in that field.

    Books are not considered technology in modern terms. Books were a marvel of technology, as the meaning of technology is basically anything new and advances other inventions. However, books has been around for thousands of years and are now continuously read. Books do have information, but it is not really considered technology these days.
