Let NL/H be the number of counters per revolution, T1 be the time in seconds between the two consecutive L/H transitions. What is the rotational rate of the disk in Hz?

    V = ∆N/T

    Explanation:

    Rotational Rate is defined as the number of rotations an object moves in a period of time.

    = Rotations/time = distance/time = velocity

    V = ∆f

    Where f = N/T1 where N is the number of cycle per time

    T1 be the time in seconds between the two consecutive L/H

    ∆ is the distance in meters between the two consecutive L/H.

    Therefore we have V = ∆N/T1
