Describe the anodising process, with diagrams.

Anodising process is method to protect the metal surface from corrosion. The metal surface get corroded due to presence of oxygen and due this the material loose strength.

Anodising process is also used to provide good appearance of metals. This is also called electroplating coating.

In this process metal dipped in the acidic electrolyte and pass the current, due which oxidation takes place and produce a layer on the metal surface.
