Option d) all of the mentioned

    Explanation:

In two stroke engine, the operation of the engine completes in one cycle which includes two stroke - upward and downward.

One stroke is of inlet and compression, which deals with the inlet of the fuel or air fuel mixture depending on petrol diesel engine, whichever is used. The inlet is then followed by the compression of the fuel which ignites it due to the presence of spark plug.

The next is the expansion and exhaust stroke. After the compression, when the fuel is combusted, the gas expands and results in the downward motion of the piston after which the exhaust gasees are let out by an opening in the lower part of the cylinder.
