    Answer:The following are differences that present in the active fire protection system (AFP) and passive fire protection system (PFP) : -

    Passive fire protection system is for the prevention from the smoke and fire whereas active protect system tends to end the fire. PFP does it work more efficiently as compared with AFP, which sometimes fails to achieve the aim. PFP uses equipment and tools such as dampers, fire resistance wall floors etc whereas AFP uses the tools like fire extinguisher, sprinklers etc.
