The moral lesson in the story revolves the basic understanding of how karma works or around the law of cause and effect. As what they all say what goes around comes around. Karma literally means "activity". It can be subdivided up into some few categories which are bad, good, individual and collective. Karma revolves around the concept of reaping the fruits of what you have sown in the past. The fruits may either be sweet or sour, depending on the nature of your actions whether they are good or bad. In the story of Federico’s Falcon, Monna in the end somehow had her fair share of the consequences from what she has done in the past.
