    I believe the correct answer is B. The quick production of fast food has a negative effect on the quality and safety of the products.

    The statement that the author used is talking about the speed that takes these products to be prepared, and option B is the only statement which even remotely mentions the preparation speed, which is why I'd choose that option as the correct answer.
