    The technique tat Swift use give a glimpse on the terrible condition that he witnessed in ireland.

    Look at this line for example:

    "I can think of no one objection that will possibly be raised against this proposal, unless it be urged that the number of people will be thereby much lessened in the kingdom. "

    Through this type of satire, he could had more room to express his contempt about the current situation that he witnessed
