When he sits on the chair of Augury, He sees signs and prophesies and he hears the birds fighting.

So, eventhough Teiresias is a blind mand that couldn't see everything around him, because of the chair now he had the capabilities to forsee future occurrences before it happens, and he doesn't like what he sees in the future.
