What is the purpose of Sojourner Truth's speech, "Ain't I a Woman?"

Her purpose for the speech was to inform people that woman had just as many rights as men did and should be treated the same way. considering they worked just as hard as men did, talked as well as men did. She was trying to make them see that woman could do anything men could do, and in some ways even better.
