The boy in the striped pajamas summary

During World War II, 8-year-old Bruno (Asa Butterfield) and his family leave Berlin to take up home close to the inhumane imprisonment where his dad (David Thewlis) has quite recently progressed toward becoming commandant. Miserable and desolate, he meanders out behind his home one day and discovers Shmuel (Jack Scanlon), a Jewish kid of his age. Despite the fact that the security barrier of the camp isolates them, the young men start a taboo fellowship, negligent of the genuine idea of their environment.
