How is gatsby's loyalty to daisy emotional?

His loyalty for Daisy is emotional because he built a luxurious lifestyle just for her and always had her on his mind. He even moved to a large mansion, only to be closer to her. At the end, when Gatsby dies, Daisy doesn't even bother to come to his funeral, which is upsetting and cruel because Gatsby cared so much for her and never expected anything in return.
