Explanation:

"How whale got his throat" is a beautiful story by "Rudyard Kipling". It states why whales which is the largest mammal in the world, can eat only small things.

The whale attacks a child, but its attempt got unsuccessful as a man had wounded the whale's throat with jack-knife and suspenders. So, whale was not able to eat the child. So, because of one man's actions, whale can no longer eat human beings as this memory of that whale was passed onto the future generations of the whale.
