I do not believe it should be mandatory. Inexperienced 18-year-olds trying to make a decision that big is a disaster waiting to happen. granted, some are ready and should be allowed to vote. I do not see myself voting right away at 18. Making a decision like that is based off of the new adults maturity and ability to handle politics.
