Jonas was a great basketball player and was hoping to get

a scholarship to a big university. Unfortunately, he was in

danger of failing his math class, which would mean he

couldn't play in the championship game. He needed to get

at least a B on the final to pass the class. He studied every

night and worked hard to learn the material. On the day of

the final, he was nervous but confident. After the exam, the

teacher congratulated Jonas and told him he had passed!

Jonas was thrilled and ran to tell his teammates that he

could play in the big game.
