Answer: The ideas used in the bone war to disgrace each other were bribery, theft and the destruction of bones. They used wealth and finance to influence their own expeditions. Dynamite was also used by both to destroy the critical remains fossil remains to harm the other person research.

    Explanation:

In "The Bone Wars", there has been rivalry shown between Cope and Marsh. Both of them are in the same field and therefore they leave no chance in disgracing the other person in the field and themselves tried to be superior than the others. For this, both of them made use of bribery, destruction of the bones and theft.

They also made use of wealth to influence their own expeditions and to procure the bones of the dinosaurs from "Fossil Hunters". In all these attempts, both were ruined financially. All this continued till Cope's death. Their description about the new species which were made on their reconstructions led to confusion for ages.
