The artists them selves are not good at marketing at all. They sell off their work, galleries set up events and take some part of the income from the sale of the paintings.

    Explanation:

The work that is done by the artists are highly appreciated by people who understand and love art. This market is very wealthy in the sense that people who like art are ready to pay a huge amount for the work of some of the artists.

The artists themselves have no sense of marketing at all. They can not sell off their work. For selling their paintings, the artists contact certain galleries and these galleries organize events where the people who are interested in buying paintings can come and buy.

The galleries take a certain amount of money that the artists receive as a result of the sale of the paintings in that event.
