Answer: Scrum refers to an iterative, incremental framework for projects and product development. Scrum structures development in cycles of work called sprints. The iterations are not more than one month each and takes place one after the other without pausing. The sprints are usually time boxed. This means that they end on a specific date irrespective of whether the work has been completed or not. It is also never extended. At the start of each sprint, the cross-functional team selects items (customer requirements) from a prioritized list. The product development team then commit to complete the items by the end of the sprint. During the sprint process, the items chosen are not changed.
