Sample Response: At first, Odysseus acts without thinking about consequences. He waits around out of curiosity to see the cyclops and then taunts him, getting himself in trouble. Later, he learns to control himself by waiting for the perfect moment to seek revenge on the suitors. Sometimes it is harder and takes more strength to wait than to act.
