We have learned about two dimensional technique of printmaking, and drawing and painting. In this discussion board we will contrast these three techniques. Post an artist's drawing, print or painting. What are some of the ways the drawing, painting and printmaking techniques differ in their history and development? Why would an artist prefer one technique over another? There were distinct reasons for using each technique, what are those and what effect do they have on the aesthetics of the art work? Think of these in terms of the formal qualities.
