Slim wants to get to know George, but he isn't the type of man who prods others for information. He allows George to keep still about things he has no wish to share and to talk about the things he wants to talk about. Slim is a gentleman. He is perceptive and kind but, most of all, subtle. He wouldn't tell anyone about the story.
