    Option A is correct because Andrew's is a farmer by nature. He is Robert's hardy elder brother, While Robert is of delicate, poetic and romantic nature. He loves to read books and travelling.

    Option C is also correct because it says the same thing in option A but in different words. Andrew is a hard worker. He knows exactly how to manage a farm, while Robert being of poetic nature and fond of reading books is not able to properly manage the farm, which in the end is in full disarray.

    Option B is not correct: They both care much about their family. One of the reason behind Robert's plan to leave the farm and go on sea voyage was that he loved Ruth and wanted not to interfere in Ruth future with Andrew proposed marriage.
