The memories are: An ancestral home, parents, her marriage and the life in Euroean capitals. The positions are: Pearl is in Hester's arm, Mr. Dimmsdale is above Hester in a balcony and Roger Chillingworth is on the edge of the crowd. The plea is: to reveal the name of the father.
