The moon dies every night. You can see it go down into the darkness, but when

another night comes, then the moon rises again.

The moon wanted the rabbit to relay this message to the people on the earth so the

people would -

a) pay more attention to the cycles of the moon

b) understand that darkness is the same as death

c) not be fearful of what lies before them

d) listen to the message of the rabbit
