gmat Of the books standing in a row on a shelf, an atlas is the 30th book from the left and the 33rd book from the right. If 2 books to the left of the atlas and 4 books to the right of the atlas are removed from the shelf, how many books will be left on the shelf?

    Explanation:

    As per the question, there are 29 books at the left of 30th book and 32 book at the right of 30th book. If we get the total 29 + 32 + 1, we find it 62. Now we remove 2 books + 4 books, which is 6. From the total 62, if we deduce 6, we get that 56 will be left on the shelf.
