Matthew and his younger brother Dorian usually study very well each night after dinner. One night, Matthew decided to watch the finale of his favorite show and proceeded to discuss the episode on the phone with his best friend Samantha. Dorian urged him to discontinue his conversation and study, but he was so caught up in conversation that he did not listen. The next morning in biology class, he was unprepared for his Ms. Dunn's pop quiz. He realized the mistake he had made and was determined not to repeat it.
