The correct form to cite different books by the same author on the Works Cited page is:

Moore, Jack H. Ballads in Poetry - a Critical Review. Dallas: Garden Books, 1962. Print. - --. Folk Songs and Ballads. Salem: Poetry Press, 1999. Print.

    Explanation:

When we cite different books from the same author we have to follow the same structure as we cite other books, they need to go in alphabetical order but since they have the same author they will appear in the list one after other, then the author will not be mention in all of them just in the first one, and the other references will substitute the name with three hyphens and a period.
