    It would really depend what the cause is and if the gov is in favor or against it that causes you to rebel against it. For example: Native African Americans had no rights when they lived in the US before the 1950s because they were formerly slaves. Due to the lack of rights and discrimination they fought until the government gave them the same rights as whites.
