What is the difference between lyrical poem and narrative poem

    A lyrical poem is usually only one speaker and only has one subcategory.

    (Example: elegy, ode, sonnet and dramatic)

    A narrative poem will probably be a lot longer and is meant to tell a story. It will always have some kind of plot.

    lyrical poem has a theme the author is trying to teach you while narrative poeam is exsplaning a story (may also have theme but its from real events)
