    Characteristics of a myths present in "The Story of Daedalus and Icarus."

    'The story of Daedalus and Icarus' is a well known Greek mythology which tells a story of the father Daedalus who was an excellent and skillful craftsman and artist, and Icarus who was the son of Daedalus.

    There's a very popular story about Daedalus and Icarus which describes how Daedalus invents a wax wings to escape from Crete and how because of ignoring Daedalus's warning of not to fly too high, Icarus gives away his life by drowning in water.

    This story contains elements of classical myths such a the tragic ending, the super human abilities to fly high with just a wax wings, it explains the history and culture. Apart from this it also provides a lesson to always be cautious and follow the advice and warnings of other.
