Read the lines from Shelley's "Ode to the West Wind."

Wild Spirit, which are moving everywhere;

Destroyer and preserver; hear, oh, hear!

Who or what is the "Wild Spirit" and how can it be both "destroyer and preserver"?

The wind; because it ushers in winter but it also ensures there will be spring.

The poet; because words can destroy or preserve.

The autumn; because it brings the wind that can be destructive or gentle.
