Michael spent 9.50 on pens and pencils. He paid 6.00 for pencils that cost 0.15 each. If pens are 0.50 each, how many pens and pencils did Michael purchase?

    9.50 / 0.5 = 19

    6 / 0.15 = 40

    Micheal bought 19 pens and 40 pencils
