Calpurnia felt entirely comfortable taking the Jem and Scout to the church as she knew people would treat them with respect because of the greatness of their widowed father.

    Explanation:

Jem and Scout were only two people in the entire community who were white. Calpurnia was taking them to the African American black church and she was entirely comfortable about it as she knew their widowed father had won the heart of the people by defending Tom Robinson so people would treat his children with respect. On the other hand, Jem and Scout were so familiar with Calpurnia and also they had no problem with black people as they were taught not to judge people by their skin colour.
