Are these sentences complete, run-on, or fragment sentences?

1. The bridge over the creek was built a long time ago with crude tools and engineering, it's no longer safe.

2. the football games were much more interesting than I thought they'd be, a couple scores were very, very close!

    These are both Run On sentences.

    Explanation:

    a comma is needed after ago and a period is needed after engineering to make it Two complete sentences for number one. Number two you need to capitalize The, put a period after be. Then you would add the word of after couple. Also only use the exclamation if you would shout or exclaim that line. I feel like a period here would make it neater and easier to read.
