True or false?

The main purpose of Dante's The Divine Comedy was to act as a critique of the Italian government at the time and warn people to behave better through society. Dante's inferno is a well systematically hell in which people are punished by the type of sin they commit. Dante, through his portrayal of the nine circles in Hell, conveys the different sins punishable in hell while also ranking them in severity. Dante the character, witnesses those sins, and their correlation with punishments, and judges them in a reasonable way.
