When creating a fast-paced conflict scene between two or more people, a writer might do well to consider only dialogue, at least for parts of it. Perhaps the characters have just entered into an argument and the writer wants to speed up the scene.

    Usage of fast pace:

The author can use the fast pace in the sentence when she/he wants to keep her/his readers hooked up in the story. Mostly, action stories are fast compared to suspense stories. The author can fast pace the story until a tensed climax appear.

The author can achieve this by using an active voice in the sentence. She can also avoid using extravagant details of the scene. By using simple and direct statements, she can increase the pace of the story.
