Malala Yousafzai is a young woman and activist. She was born in a part of Pakistan ruled by the Taliban who did not allow girls and women to have school education. Because of her activism, the Taliban attacked and injured Malala, but she fought hard and recovered from her gunshot injury. Subsequently, she started advocating for school education for young girls and women.

Malala was inspired to fight for women's education by her father.
