    The Sheriff of Nottingham can represent two kinds of archetypes since he is a representation of the antagonist in the story of Robin Hood. The Sheriff of Nottingham not only represents a villain the whole tale but a tyrant as well when he makes locals pay unaffordable taxes.

    The archetype of the villain shows a character that wants to stop the so-called hero at ant cost, these characteristics often make them evil besides his positive traits are fully hide.

    The archetype of the tyrant wants to destroy everything around and it also has an extremely self-centered personality, besides being arrogant and heartless.
