Explanation:

One evening Goodman says goodbye to his wife and goes to the forest. There is no idea why he is going but there is some evil. His entire village is deeply pious, yet he chooses to set forth on an errand into the woods at dusk to become a new convert of the dark lord. Goodman Brown believes in God, the Devil, and the existence and power of witches with dark powers. Everything outside the village was supernatural. Goodman too is not sure of what to do. The problem ruins him completely. He cannot see his wife and neighbors again.
