In grammar, passive voice means that the subject is being acted upon.

    For example:

    "I kicked the ball"

This would be an example of active voice, since the subject (I) is doing an action (kicked) on the object (the ball).

    However, take for example:

"The ball was kicked by me"

This would be an example of passive voice, since the new subject (The ball) is having an action done on it (was kicked) by the object (me).

Now that we know the difference between active and passive voice, let's answer these questions:

    1. The flowers were bought by me.

    2. The new car was bought by my mother.

    3. I was rung by Farhia this morning.

    4. The food was cooked by her.

    5. The children were brought by Ahmed from school.
