The information that should be used to supplement the speech mechanism is Feeding and Blabbing Behavior.

    Explanation:

Blabbing is a precursor to language development. It is a stage in the development of a child during which a child appears to be experimenting by giving articulate sound with no recognizable words. Infants starts to produce this articulate sounds with no recognizable words from birth, then starts to produce recognizable words around twelve months of age.

These developments in the infants is responsible for some of the changes in the variation of sounds the baby makes. therefore the blabbing behavior is a good information to supplement the speech mechanism examination of a young child with an emerging phonological system.

Furthermore, feeding behavior in a child also a good supplement to speech mechanism.
