In a short story character A is injured accidentally after a fight with character B. In a filmed version character A is injured because character B attacks him without a reason. How does this change most affect change the way we see character B in the film

    Character B is now most likely seen as a bad guy to audiances that have not read the book. Since he attacked him without reason now the audiance would brand him as an enemy even if he is not the main bad guy.
