The example of foreshadowing is excerpt is number one for some reasons. First, the attention paid to the bahavior of the animals. Second, the reaction of animals the humans used to illtreat. Third, the fear the action of the animals caused in Jones and his men. All these actions are foreshadowing the rebellion and the reorganization of the farm as it happens afterwards in the story.
