Our travel insurance cover lost items, such as passports. what is the wrong subject - verb agreement

    It is in the word cover, which should've been 'covers'. This is because travel insurance is singular.

    English is weird.

    Since "travel insurance" is singular, the verb should be in the third singular person, and thus have a "s" at the end:

    "Our travel insurance covers lost items, such as passports"
