How has the Boo Radley game changed?

in the beginning of chapter 5, Scout says that Jem changed the named of the characters so that they could not be accused of playing the Boo Radley game. Eventually, the children stop reenacting events from Boo's life based on the rumors they hear, and they attempt to leave him a note in his windowsill.
