    In this excerpt, Sinbad realizes that the listener has mistaken his situation. He thinks that everything that Sinbad has acquired, he acquired easily and without danger. However, Sinbad wants to clarify how he came to be in that situation, so that he is not misunderstood. The first and third sentences are the ones that summarize his intention in the clearest way.
