At first, Huck dislikes school; however, the longer he attends, the more he enjoys it.

    Explanation:

At the beginning of Mark Twain's "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn," Huck is not fond of going to school. Eventually, though, he starts to change his mind when his father does not want him to attend school. The reason is none of his relatives have been educated, and Pap believes that by going to school Huck is trying to prove he is better than him. As a result, Huck decides to attend school out of pure spite towards his father.
