Shakespeare increased the pace of the plot by making both leading characters fall in love with each other then he added more challenges. The challenges were growing of maturity towards the relationship and conflicting family names that goes against their love for each other. The readers, however, would likely be more drawn to the story since it focused more on their love for each other
